O Always be in awareness of the present moment. What are you doing? What are you eating? How are you feeling? These are some of the questions that you should be asking yourself while you are living in the here and now. Controlling your thoughts and becoming conscious of the present moment will enable you to let go of all your baggage of prior decisions and thought patterns and reside in the present moment with complete energy and vigor.

O Never get frustrated if things do not go the way you intended them to be. If you want to grow, it’s important to see that there might just be bumps along the road that has to be negotiated. So instead of getting stressed out over things, take time to be grateful that you have all these thoughts, that you are alive, that you are changing and growing – and most of all, that you’re going places!

O Be a positive thinker. If you wish to give up any negative or burdening thoughts, then it would be a great idea to begin changing your thinking patterns towards positive ones. This does not mean you have to change all your beliefs and to completely eliminate all of your negative traits and attributes, but you simply have to give up the negative ones and be amenable to accepting what you see and experience around you. When you are able to see and understand what is happening around you can take good care of yourself, then you’ll be able to successfully deal with the situations that come your way.

O Use positive statements and graphics. Another great way to let go of unwanted and unhelpful thoughts is to begin using positive statements and images in your everyday life. For example, if you are telling yourself,”I am kind and loving,” or”I’m laughing my heart out,” or any other statement that connotes happiness and well-being, then it means that you’re letting go of old damaging beliefs. When you’re able to associate these ideas with joy and well-being, then you’ll become more likely to experience that happiness in your life. This may also help you build relationships with others, since when you connect other people with good feelings, then you will become more open and vulnerable to them.

O Learn to breathe slowly and deeply. Breathing slowly and deeply, is a great way to let go of unwanted and dangerous thoughts. In our hectic lives, we often rush through things or say things which do not make us feel great. Therefore, instead of thinking about how you are going to get through a certain situation, start considering ways to breathe deeply and slowly and ways to let go of any negative thoughts that you may have. Using this method, your brain and your body will become calm and relaxed. You’ll have the ability to experience deeper and richer state of being.

O Take the time for Yourself. 1 great way to grow in wisdom and maturity is by making time for yourself. You want to understand that you do not always have to attend to every single thing that has happened in your life. Instead, when you end up getting bogged down by negative thoughts or from any other unwanted traits, then you want to find a peaceful place and a quiet place where you can recharge yourself by breathing deeply and slowly, and you may consider the things you would like to improve on with your mindset and your own personality.

By doing such things, it would be easier for you to let go of unwanted and dangerous thoughts. It would also help you to realize that you do not need to rush through anything or say anything, all at one time. If you want to help others, then it would also be better if you can help yourself first.
